Crêpe Day

I have been in a cooking frenzy all weekend so I decided to go all out today with crêpes! I went shopping for ingredients at 10 PM last night and stayed up until 2:30 AM preparing what I could. Thanks to the time change it was only 1:30. I made appetizer crêpes, salad with crêpes, a main dish with crêpes, and dessert crêpes all served on fine china! It was a delectable culinary experience!

WashU

Hey! Chelsey's at WashU! I have actually acted like everyone else here this evening working in the library 'til nearly midnight and (obviously) staying up much later. I was productive enough to write an application essay and read a chapter of Human Geo :) I've just been fed a heap of sugar and don't really want to go to sleep, but neither does anyone else (well actually they can't because they have work to do). Anyway, everyone here is a nerd :) and they're obsessed with their food. WashU is looking really attractive right now!
Goodnight!

Occasionally I go through the folders of my e-mails looking for memories, laughs, inspiration or encouragement. There are a few messages that I read quite often. Here is an excerpt from one:

"Remember in the coming years the most important lessons you learned. Friendship is infectious. Dabble in many subjects - you never know what might prove interesting. Passion for one's work inspires others. Confidence is cumulative if cultivated. Keep challenging yourself and revel in life, in things both great and small."

It pretty much sums up the experiences of my junior year and gives me encouragement for the future. Simple though it may seem, it means a lot to me. Want to guess who wrote it?
